The characters have humor and the dialog flows naturally. I would suggest requesting help with editing, though. A fresh pair of eyes can catch inconsistencies such as the multiple spellings of the main character's name.

I think waiting 5+ years for the next chapter is a bit much.

This is like going to watch a chess match and after the two world-renowned grand-master-level players make the first 3 moves each, they get up from the table and just walk away.
