She really has no right to complain. She denied him types of sex throughout their marriage that she was willing to engage in before it, and outside of it. She obviously was not turned on by her husband - it took phone sex with her lover before she was willing to screw him. She was willing to have her husband raise her lover's child without any qualms.

Now she has her ex-football player lover and everything is just peachy - right? Too bad about the innocent baby boy though. That's the real loser.

She said she was two years behind him in high school and the head cheerleader the year he graduated. That means she was a sophomore that year, and, in every school I know of, the head cheerleaders is usually a senior and maybe, maybe, a junior, though she could have been the head junior varsity cheerleader.

From Drunk to Jock to Loser who WANTS to hurt his wife having sex. Later he tags aniothercheerleader, same story. Both women hang around way too long, other waitr around just long enough to die.

kind of a loser, wasn't he? all his life, he's been doing nothing but picking up abused women of one jock guy from high school,,,

wife was abused and dumb when she was in high school by the idiot; so, yes, he married her. after her wounds healed and memory of being abused faded, she went back and got herself pregnant by the brute and that's that,,,

now, some year and a half later, he's back in their hometown and picked up the WIFE the jock had abused throughout his marriage and was now divorced from,,,,

a total loser, this man,,, nothing else.

now, that's just about the guy,,, this woman MAY turn out to be a worthy woman, a loving and kind woman who simply was too naive and had latched on to the jock in high school simply because he was older and swept her off her feet, one night, and then she found herslef in an impossible stituation after that and had to suffer for some years after that, until, as she said, she found enough courage to divorce him, TO LET HIS OTHER SLUT to come back to replace her as a punching bag

but the guy --- the protagonist here --- he nothing but a complete idiot of a loser, that's for sure. If not this, it'd be another abused woman,,, but they will not stand by him too long, because he is a weak, wimpish character,,, not very loveable or respected by those who know him long

I enjoy your writing style. Your story flows very gracefully but your plot is a bit unusual. With most of your story concentrated on his marriage and later divorce, a reader might reasonably expect that when he finds his ex-wife is being abused by her new husband or boy friend , he might spring to her defense. Instead he has sex with stranger who turns out to be former classmate and ex wife of man who impregnated his former wife and caused his divorce. You need a pogram to find out who is loving whom.

I could not recognize in this chapter the charaters of either the husband or the ex, which worked really well for this very different chapter. In fact, it read like a sweet romance plus a very nice twist at the end. What a turn around! For this chapter it's certainly top rating!

Thank you, I needed this. Kathi's stories really draw me in and they're so intense that I have to measure my dose. This one was short enough that I got relief by the justice in the ending before I had a chance to suffer too much despair.

Loved how it turned out. Bitch of an ex wife got what she deserved. Jock's ex wife found strength and left him. Hero got laid. It'd be great to have a chapter 3 to see what happens. Hopefully the exwife continues to get abused, jock goes to jail, and hero ends up with younger, former cheerleader, ex wife of jock. Can they work it out? Let us know. Excellent, well written story that leaves the reader wanting more!

What a wonderful twist, worthy of O'Henry! I do have a problem with the jock being so abusive. I find it hard to believe that any woman, much less two would put up with that sort of treatment, but I know that some do. Having him act that extreme before and after birth takes a bit away from the story. I mean we want him to be a jerk, but that's a bit over the top.

I also found the PG wife a bit hard to accept. It's a stretch to accept that the school's slut had become so repressed, then so easily reverted to form... except she that while she was more open, she still didn't want frequent sex with hubby. It makes one wonder what was wrong with him as a lover. I remember what PG hormones did to my wife but as I said, this was a bit too much.

After the first chapter I was afraid this would be wimp out part two. Great ending, it shows that even the wimps can get lucky sometimes.

Perhaps it complete and it was just a one night stand and they go their seperate ways. However, it feels like more than that.

And, the ex-wife needs to divorce the ex-jock or see that he goes to prison for a year.

Just wished you had done more and made them a couple with them having a life together and her haveing his kids

The story teaches us that even if we are buffetted by a a couple of major storms that flip our lives upside down, life as a way to steer you to a new course that ends up quite nicely for two people who hadn't met before.

Marci was an extremely poor excuse for a committed partner and look how she ended up.

Not as good as the first part. I find it odd that his only reaction at the end is laughter. Not that he should be mad at her for not telling him, but I would at least be stunned and speechless. I guess he gets the jocks sloppy seconds yet again.

The comments were basically right on. The story was very believable and well written. One comment which was intended to degrade you was very shallow. May have been from one long on physicality and short on mentality. Could you have inadvertently held up a mirror?

but I was expecting much more interaction with the ex wife. This was pretty much pointless, in my opinion.

Connectors ... Hubby sees his ex-wife, says a few words to her. MiL is in both Ch1 & Ch2 (but dead in 2). Jock is in both chapters. Jock's Sweetie becomes Hubby's new squeeze in Ch2, was briefly mentioned in Ch1! That's it! Not NEARLY enough to be a real sequel. Just a second story of Hubby's young adult life where he finds what looks to be a promising true love!

I liked that the exwife found a abusive boy friend butlike most women she does not like man that gives her love and respect.

Hope the new lovers will make a long term connection.

True to life & yet a 'rare pairing' , in the end.

However,the story does seem to be incomplete. A few loose ends,unresolved. Was she really raped by the jock in the school? Why would she start an affair with a rapist? Why ,after having sex at the reunion , was she so upset with the jock.? If she was a willing participant & a true 'bitch', why would she cry & the guilt ?

It seems, as if, you suddenly changed the course of your intended story in Ch. 2.

Anyway, it is nice , as it is.

The ending floored me. It was a very interesting story and I felt it was a five stars production. I've seen situations somewhat similar and it is so tragic for all concerned in the abusive relationships. The cheating is inexcusable, but karma is a bitch. Thanks for your effort.

I think Kathi having to imagine her own dick dick between her legs must have really sent her for a loop.

Then the carcrash ruined it. Please, finish this story. You are a good writer with a great story plot. You just can't finish it.

I appreciated the symmetry in the ending. The ex-wife traded a good husband for an abuser and she traded the abuser for the good husband but now I wonder did she plan on seducing him as right there at the funeral? That would have been very bad taste.

Why divorce only after the DNA test? He should have started that day he knew she screwed around. Also, in part 1 he never said anything about how she sucked the entire football team for some time but never did her husband because of the "rape".

Husband is an ass. He laughs about his wife being a guy who abuses her. A real man would have stopped it. Obviously that not this guy. In my life I did stop my ex’s abusive husband not out of love for her but did not want her abused anymore than if it was a stranger being abused I would still have stepped up. Now I am happily married and my ex is as well and both her my current wife friends and family look on me as one of the good guys.

This story is trash. No build up to anything. No emotion. Both of them are essentially crashing the funeral. You can deduce her role in the story, which Is later confirmed, but it reads like a stranger meeting a guy, telling her life story to said guy, then they have dinner, coffee, and sex. Then turns out it's a revenge fuck, even though they're both already out of shitty situations. Then laugh and kiss. Utter shit.

Well, that was an interesting twist.
