Yes, I've read this story before, but the good ones just need to be read more than once because they are good.
Another one of your BEST stories. You really are a great writer. Keep on doing what you do.
The language was tight and the pacing was delicious. We could truly feel the joy they experienced in each other. Thank you.
Another great story that was a pleasure to read. The characters are so real that it's like I'm right there with them. This is one of many of your stories that are five stars.
I thought the introduction to this story was a bit too long , after realising, oh my god, this guy loves fishing. I actually thought this guy a going too romance a female trout. Ya I know I'm beginning sarcastic. But for me that's the only thing I have to say and before all of you start jumping up and down in defence of MGM I thought overall the characters were good and the storyline quite interesting to say the least and yes after all that ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Yearning to read the rest of their story. Oh well, may they live happily ever after.
Please, please don't use capital letters for ordinary nouns!
Capitals are for proper nouns, trade names, tiltles such as "Mr.", the first person singular (I) and of course at the beginning of a sentence.
Is there a sequel ? Ava and Roy , new
developments with the cabin etc, jobs etc.
Such a VERY interesting story now I want to
know more about their story together .
Thanks ZL00py
That is why it was so nice to read - reality sucks heh -
A five for sure! A great read about what seem to be regular, ordinary folks. He's not super handsome, nor is she what is customarily termed beautiful, yet they are wonderful together. Thanks!!
I really enjoyed your story Magmaman! Made me cry.
Thanks for sharing :)
Love to give you a "rub down" sometime.
How about Friday?
Not that it matters one whit in the context of the story, boats built of aluminum below 19' in length are supposed to be sold new with what is known as positive floatation, rules rather than laws from the US Coast Guard.
With larger machines, normally much heavier with gear, engine, etc, it would be a waste of space because if you get her full of water she is going to go down. Those sold as simple row boats typically have none at all. Those that do are nearly always removed, they get in the way.
But thank you for the comments,
MGM
LikeBob........... you are wrong. I have an aluminum commercial fishing boat, built in violet louisiana, and they do not have to have floatation. And you can't get insurance on them easily because they will sink. Anyway, the story was ok..... maybe a little more detail about the romance part. Keep up the writing.
every boat made in the last 50 plus years has positive level flotation built in, by law. !
Really liked the whole story ,great concept. Man you never let me down , always a great story. Keep'em comin.
I think they call the way off of islands "bridges"...
LoL
Thanks,
MGM
Did i miss something... Thought she lived on an island?? An aquatic Harley??
But I loved this story. Despite the fishing it was a lovely read and deserved the 5 it got
The characters were so real, I felt like I was there. Good job!
Magmaman, there is nothing more to say. It was perfect.
