Really interesting angle on a theme. Brilliant . I love this series and this chapter was no exception. Sexy with good dialogue and intelligent plot, what else could a girl ask for. And we now know where the red scarf fits into things. Waiting with baited breath for the next chapter now .
Thank you
That was worth waiting for, glad the next part won't have the same wait, I love these neuro atypical cuties, especially with the little details like capitalizing Normal Person Body Language, that is how we think of such things
this started out very good, but by page 2 it went down hill from there I hope the next part is a little better
Well, I certainly learned more about containers than I ever imagined. :) I love following this story and learning so much about autism. So far, an interesting friend story that I hope turns into a loving story. As an (out of the closet) romantic I pray for happy endings. I hope that you give us one. Peace.
Incredible as always but oh god never ever ever use a scarf for bondage in real life, especially a silk one. They slip really easily and the knots become way tighter than you intended and are impossible to undo. They can even get so tight that you can't get safety shears underneath them to cut them off, and they can easily cause permaneny nerve damage. Not to mention you just had to cut up your favorite scarf
I didn't describe the detail, but Sarah's doing a very simple double-column tie here without cinching - just looping the scarf around both wrists a few times without cinching, then tying it off in a bow for quick release. That being the case, even if the knot does jam, there's space to get shears in between the wrists and snip through the tie that way - though I agree it'd be a waste of a scarf!
For a single-column tie, or a more secure double-column tie, yeah, using a silk scarf would be a very bad idea. I try to describe safe practice, but I'm not going to list all the safety measures required for that, so please nobody take this as a tutorial.
This is a great story!!! Keep up the good work. I enjoyed every word. I just can't understand those readers who just have to tell authors where they made errors. It's fiction, dammit. If they don't like it, they should just stop reading.
Jan.
Thanks for the support, Janet!
It's fiction, but it's meant to be realistic fiction about people who are (mostly) responsible with one another, and sometimes people do try out stuff they read about in fiction. So I'm not going to fault readers for talking about safety, especially when I didn't do the best job of describing what was in my mind.
Wonderful episode, fabulous characters; how you develop their limits and uncertainties. Love them both! Thank you x
This dimension might not have attracted me to begin with but in makes much more sense due to the rich buildup of the previous chapters....
I second RangeExpander in that I wasn’t (aren’t) interested in BDSM, but now I’m quite getting into it in the context of this story. Very well done. My only complaint is that chapters are too short, I’m gonna run out soon! And then what am I going to do! :D
It must be terrible, being highly intelligent but simple things can guide you into a melt down ..... Both are Aspies , so they might discover the advantage for each other
