....even if it is popular, instead of stopping like you did with Dark Traveler to publish and have readers buy the ending? Many Lit writers finish their stories for us readers then get them published, and I do buy good stories under those circumstances.

I read your other story and had a hard time getting past the italics. Even tho this is a good story emphasizing every other word in every other sentence is annoying.

Yes, I intend to finish this story. You'll notice it will move a lot faster than my other. As for DT, no, it has been discontinued on this site. BUT, you'll be happy to know that it has spanned into not only one but two more full-length tales.

Of course, I will let you know when (and if) it all comes to fruition.

You have a lot in the story so far, but from the get go you started losing me. As I read I found that I was asking myself questions as I went along. I only got through page one and had too many questions to continue. Maybe I missed the answer to my questions, but here goes.

You said that negotiations, treaties.. boundaries were struck. How do you strike a boundary and with whom were these negotiations made?

You said it was evident that they were thought of as insane primates with innate homicidal tendencies. What was the evidence and who made the judgement?

You said the humans were no longer at the top of command? As far as I can see they were never at the top of the command when it came to the other planets. What top of command were you talking about?

You say the humans were put on restrictions. Again, by whom?

The powers that be ( whomever that might be) would just let the humans strike out on their own to set up settlements when they believed them to be insane primates with innate homicidal tendencies? Go forth and fuck up the universe. lol. Sorry.

There were a multitude of indigenous people on the planet before they got there and they didn't know it? Seems to me even the puny humans would be able to detect life forms and they would have known they were there before they 'claimed' the planet. How do you claim something that's already occupied? Oops, forgot about the American Indians, they were here in 1492 right?

These alien people avoided the humans, why would they start communicating with them? No explanation of the process that got them there. They also made agreements, but little specifics were given on them. Trade? What did they have to trade?

They ( the aliens) became the target of harassment by rowdy young humans? Where was the human authorities. Didn't they have leadership who could mete out punishment to these thugs rather than wreck their relationship with the aliens? No, they just shrugged off the loss of their allies. Having time references would help too. How long were they on the planet when they became aware of the aliens, how long before they started being harassed? etc.

Ok, I've said enough, I think. My point is that you have a great basis for a story, but it doesn't have enough substance. It needs MEAT. There might have been answers to these question later in the story, but they should have been given immediately to establish and insure continuity and make the events believable. You made a lot of statements but you left out a lot of the explanation or reason behind the actions and events. I'll read the rest of the story, but I just had to stop at that point because it just wasn't making much sense to me.

Hey, can you keep us updated as to how the next Chapter is coming along? Just because I check too often and if you comment saying "There's a set back, it'll be a while" or "About to submit soon here" I would love that. I really love your writing and I don't want to check in every day just to be disappointed that it's not up yet.

You wouldn't be Pandarus, would you? In any case, if your abandoned story was well-received your fans are no doubt still keeping an eye out for your story completion. I, personally, even find myself hoping that nothing bad has happened to the authors of my three favorite unfinished stories & have looked for them elsewhere on the net thinking maybe they had a falling-out with Literotica. I hope you will post for your fans & let them know you've just moved on & they can stop checking for updates. I am enjoying your new story - keep it up! :)

This story is so much more legit and takes its time, you can actually connect with the characters first instead of jumping straight to crazy fuck carnival shiz like most other stories.

I hope you at least finish this story as I loved your last story which was left unfinished so am a bit wary of getting invested in this one only to have it left unfinished as well.

Not with your writing though, your writing is wonderful - your follow through sucks. At this point writing under a different name is a good strategy - keeps the people pissed off from not finishing the other series unaware that we're treading down the same garden path with this series. My advice, don't post another series until you finished it . . . BECAUSE IT IS GOD DAMN IRRITATING!

I know life gets busy, so sometimes you can't post as often as you might like and I know it's impolite to beg for a new chapter so I'll just say that I'm eagerly awaiting a new chapter! I keep looking for updates on Dark Travelers, but I havn't seen anything about if the books are available in print yet. I cannot say it enough. I LOVE your style.

This story deserves to be completed. Please try not to alienate your readers by making the wait so long between updates, it really breaks the flow of the story. Perhaps the best strategy would be to finish the whole story before posting it... This story is so good that it gets frustrating not to have closure... If you are posting it somewhere else or publishing it, at least let us know... You are such a good writer, if you updated frequently, you'd be one of the best!

I wondered what happed to you. i'm glad you still write but i'm once again disappointed to see you start an amazing story and not continue it. I think I even like this story more then Dark Travelers. I really hope you pick it up again and CONTINUE to KEEP WRITING.

I don't know how many times I have read promises from writers, that they will not be like so many other on this site and actually finish their tale. When you left a brilliant story like DT unfinished and then just shrugged it of and started a new one. Changing the name that you write under does not change the fact that you seem to have trouble finishing a story. So I will wait till the final chapter is posted before I come back and read the rest.

Maybe another gifted writer on Literotica could finish this story their own way. At this point, I would be happy if anybody gave a stab at it. Same with "Dark Travelers," someone could add their take on it; that would be great. Surely you could give credit to the author and say the continuation of this story is your take on it. If you do, please post here so we know you are doing it.
