love the story! strangely i remember watching a movie called Night of the Comet. And, it's definitely a different story but everyone except a few characters were disintegrated into dust. I know, I know this is the Light in this story! teehee

I remember the Night of the Comet as well. Bit of 80's fun! But this was a very nice, poignant read. Felt the terror at the beginning and the bond the two characters had at the end. Nicely compliments your other works. Thanks!

Wow. You wrote this is such a way that it was completely tangable to the reader's senses. I honestly felt like I was a part of what they were experiencing, feeling it there right along with them. It was amazing to me how you captured the graceful beauty of the moment, letting all that fear and uncertinty go. You created a poignantly touching moment that will stay embossed upon the reader's mind, while taking their breath away. Verdantly descriptive, you did a wonderful job. Please, please keep writing.
