What a terrible turn of events and waste of time

I really enjoyed reading this, so, if I may, I'd like to leave a couple of comments. While I was progressing through the story, I wished to know more about what was happening and what the protagonist was thinking. For example, why did she not fight that much at the beginning? Was she already submissive? What really prompted her to stay? I imagine that all of this was left out either to provoke the reader (in such case, it totally worked), or because the concept was the real protagonist, rather than the girl, but... Damn, I'm curious!
