White on Brown

A light hearted story of two lovers who couldn't care less

about the others color, only what is beneath the surface

and in their hearts.

Finally, the best ever

Grey Eagle is the best ever. I have often wondered when I would find an author that I could declare is my favorite. Finally, I found a story by Grey Eagle and I am designating him my all time "favorite" after reading only two stories. Where are all these stories coming from? I guess when you are over sixty, you have lived long enough to have a lot of experience and time to share it and wise enough to do that.

I sure am thankful I found this cache of stories and look forward to reading them all, at least once.

"Brown is Beautiful" is truly a delicious story. Encore!!!

A nicely told tale, but

Grey Eagle:

When are you going to write a really great love story? Suggest you make it interracial, and perhaps name it, "Brown is Beautiful." I bet it'd be a hit. Excellently done and Thank You. Ronnie W.

Very sweet

Lovely blend of love and eroticism. This is a story that promotes as feel good factor. I would have liked a little tension in there somewhere as I like how your draw you characters and would like to see how you navigate them through sticky situations. LOL

serendipidity

Such things like this don't happen frequently, but what a nice surprise when it does.

Kudo's To You!!

"Brown is Beautiful" was The First Story by You that I read. I have read all of the stories that You have put up here. This One is the "First one" I am going to comment on!

Just know that I have enjoyed Each and Every One!

I only Hope that You will write more stories "Linked" as you have in the past to one and another.!!

Also Know that I look forward to Your Next Story with Bated Breath!

Keep Up The Good Work! You are "One" "Hell" of a writer!

very nice

A little cheesy at times, but I liked it. This is one of the best stories I have found on this site. Now I'm going to have to read Grey Eagle's other stories as well. You don't really hear of such chance meetings turning into instant love in real life, but the world would be a better place if they did. This was just fantastic. I loved the little twists you worked into the story. Keep up the good work!

The only thing that I have to complain about with this story is that at times it can be difficult to follow who is saying what in the dialog.Particularly when who have more than 2 people in the conversation, makes it a bit confusing to follow, and I have a somewhat higher comprehension rate of reading than a lot of readers seem to have on this site,so if I'm having a bit of a problem imagine what their reactions may be.But I still liked the story.

A lieutenant colonel with just four years to go for retirement? Resign his commission? BULLSHIT! With his rank he could slide through Stateside. Other than that very big mistake the story was okay. Cheers! c29

This guy must think that Lt. Col's have a lot of political pull.Even Gen's go where they are told to go by the Pentagon,no matter how much time they have in or how close they are to retirement. To say that he would just skate through to retirement side is so far off base it's not even funny, especially since he is a veteran squad leader. His expertise could and likely would be called for in actual combat not just stateside training of others. So they would have cause for concern in this.Plus with their combined incomes and other assets they would not need his retirement pay.

military service

why is it in almost all the stories the woman always insist that the man in the service leave the military instead of being happy to love a active duty service member, I was on active service for 20 years and my wife followed me all over to stateside and foreign service assignments and we enjoyed the travel and duty assignments, even the combat duty, she knew I was doing something I enjoyed doing
