The doctor absolutely would have discussed the test with the husband. The privacy act has everyone fill out a form. I filled that form out about ten times last year from all my visits. It indicates who doctor can release information to.

Back in the '80's something similar happened to me. Thankfully we didn't have kids. Growing up, I loved the girl next door. Stupid.woman paid a heavy price for her cheating. At least she took Larry with her.

I'm surprised that Ron didn't go after Larry through the courts. Intentionally infecting another person with AIDS is considered some degree of murder in most states.

I greatly enjoyed this piece, and, clearly, would love to read Cindy's story too.

ITs sad and tragic. I would be interested in Cindy's side of things, she knowingly broke their agreement by sleeping with someone Ron knew, then made things worse by actually cheating. in the end it cost her everything, including her life. I would love to have some insight and her perspective. Thanks for sharing.

This was a great story. Ron was so right in not having sex with Cindy as it turned out that Larry infected her with HIV. She died of AIDS as did Larry. Ron survived to marry a wonderful woman and provide a wonderful home for her and the children. This was a great lesson on the consequences of the life choices we make. Cindy threw a loving husband, happy marriage and two lovely children away when she started fucking Larry. What a waste. Great story and I give it 5 stars.
