What is the opposite of love?

To most people, the obvious answer is "hate".

That is incorrect. The opposite to love is complete indifference. To hate requires having an emotion.

IMHO.....

Having completed reading the chapter, I have to agree with Taz317. There's just this sense that the other shoe is going to drop. Great story, but it just has the feel that something disappointing/disastrous is going to happen.

I like the collaboration as calibeachgirl is one of my favorite writers. So far i like it and now we will see where it goes. Thanks for this chapter.

Most stories give me the feeling that I know where they are going, but this one has me looking in all directions at once. A truly interesting effort.
