Despair was enveloping her, even in her continuing fear of death. But after coming again into the water below, she remembered how her lust levels were increasing with her returned consciousness. She had to go back into the dreamworld of another memory vision, to bring down her lust-energy. In that was at least some hope of thwarting the masked men, by weakening their power.
So just as she began to feel the psychic presence of Agape, Don, Candice, and Dr. Singh, she drifted off again into unconsciousness, to a memory twelve years before. Maybe as she explored more of her memories, she would be able to find a weakness in the masked men's plans, one that she would be able to use to save herself.
