Especially loved the description - made me smile.

This was great reading. Whatever the plot or story line it, it is hinted at well enough. What I liked most was the character development, and the descriptions. Both main characters are powerfully developed and Rebecca is such a dream. Oh yes she is rough on the outside but I suspect it is because she is so vulnerable and loving. I adore her already.

I wonder if she perceived that exchange among the guys correctly at the end of this chapter?

Your ability to draw the reader into the plot and further into identifying with the main characters is awesome. I'll bet you told great stories at campouts and sleepovers, or keeping wide eyed kids awake before bedtime. You must know you are very, very good, even when you are bad.
