Bit long for my personal taste but I know it?s necessary to introduce the characters. I truly enjoyed it.

Glowing ass = not erotic

A woman's body is SO much more sexy when it is not disfigured by tears, welts etc. And the attempts to justify treating people as objects are laughable.
