I liked the writing style as it seems like something that would be found in a journal or a diary (i.e. little asides). I would have liked for there to be more sex scenes but as this was the introduction to a multipart story, I can understand why there was not.

As for the part-per-day idea, if the quality remains fairly high, then I think it will work fine.
