A lovely story.
The central character was wonderfully delineated. The authour did an excellent job of filling her out, describing her feelings and reactions.
I very much liked the metaphor of Beethoven's work and life as a background.
Nice work. Very well done!
Is that the end of it? I feel like so much went unresolved...like the professor and so on. Touching and sweet, but I feel like I have been left hanging.
I very much enjoyed your story. It was very moving. Will there be another chapter? Or are we to assume that things worked out for the two of them.
I enjoyed the story very much. That Lou is a winner with a capital W.

Marvelous story.
If this is a hint of the future it will be enjoyable to the nth degree.
Well written with enough mystery about Lou and Julie.
I really enjoyed your writing style and blending of music and romance. I too want this story to continue because I want to know what the deal was with the professor, and more about Lou's past, et cetera. Keep up the great work!
Again a very enjoyable read, AutumnWriter. A tale of romance woven into the background of Beethoven’s exquisite Moonlight Sonata. I really enjoyed your writing style and want this story to continue. I want to know what happened between Julie and the professor and more details about Lou's past. Please keep up the great work! Pete.
A really lovely story, it makes me wish I'd listened to more classical music all my life.
...particularly the naming of the two main characters <g>. I have to say that the description of them "not saying much" at the concert made me smile, though. People shouldn't "say much" at a classical concert or they'll be asked to stop talking. Best, Ken
As I understand it, the third movement more closely seems to express Beethoven's anger at her refusal to marry him. The key, C# minor, is commonly used for negative emotions.
