Nice start of a story. I hope you continue it and we get to see more of Amber and Danny's relationship. One LITTLE nit-pick, you had a 3rd-to-1st person shift early in the story (and that's a pet peeve of mine) other other then that pretty good.

A great first chapter. The text was seperated a bit too much but otherwise a great story.
