"S'okay," she replied. "I got what I wanted." He laughed softly, his own eyes sliding closed.
"So, what made you decided to sneak in here, hm?" he asked drowsily.
She shrugged, shoulders brushing against him. "Got bored," she answered lazily. "An' I ran out of batteries for m'vibrator." He snorted at that, but decided not to give her the satisfaction of a snide retort. A faint breeze ghosted through the room, the nearly spent candles flickering and guttering, a few of them winking out. The others slowly burned down to nothing as the pair fell asleep, one wound around the other, content in each other's arms.
