Chapter 2 and (eventually) 3 are more about the developing relationship. Romantic entanglements are not just between two people. Sometimes things are a bit messier.

But this is romance. I think this what I like about this and the following chapter. It is a good slow build to a type of romance that exists but is normally labled as polyamory and threesomes.
