Your MC displays not one male virtue, he is a coward with no self-respect. Allowing a lie to go on unchecked is about the same as inaction they both represent acquiesce "acceptance of" the action or lie, this is a fatal mistake made by cowards to avoid an uncomfortable or painful situation, the thing is that it doesn't avoid anything it allows them to fester and grow, having the courage to take action and stand against lies and deceit stops them from multiplying and growing more evil.

Well Shelia certainly has issues, maybe disturbing enough to worry about what she might do to the kids if they ever crossed her. Hard to believe that her madness and paranoia hadn't manifested itself before in 16 years and alerted the MC.

TBH this is an engaging and well written story I just didn't like the plot very much. I still liked it but as a piece of writing rather than a story

But the ending took me out of my experience because her motivations for making him suffer didn’t serve her goal in any way. If she had been creatively stuck coming up with believable emotions for the main characters reactions, and thus was using his suffering to make a more authentic character… or something along those lines possibly. Regardless, I enjoyed it and looking forward to reading more. MW

That was a truly disturbing story but well written. If I was the MC I would fake my death and disappear. That woman is straight up bat shit crazy. There is no way I would ever be able to trust her after what she did. She sees him look at a checkout clerk. Funny and next thing you know he wakes up, tied down and beaten. Like I said. Story, She put this whole show on, role playing with her being dominate. The only thing she did was to tie him up. When he tied her up, he didn't take perverse actions on her. proof that no matter what he couldn't hurt her... So, she did the same to him... She hired someone to be in the video. To make the "scene" more believable... He suggested that she go and meet with Scarlet. What I'm thinking that if this story was real, She would've already done that also talked with his co-workers... It's safe to say that to keep on using the theme over and over again is overkill. Individuals hurting those they profess to love is not generally considered an erotic turn on. If that were the case, I can see where the constant news headlines of real life non-consensual/reluctant domestic abuse would provide a true believer in such behaviour with one almighty and continuous wet dream. Sorry, but reading about physical abuse does not stiffen my aging member...it has the opposite effect.

I briefly dated a girl who had major trust issues. Apparently most, if not all, her boyfriends had cheated on her. We only saw each other romantically for a short time because of that problem. So as I’m reading the story I got to thinking about her. I wonder if she would have done something like this if she could get away with it. In real life, emotions usually trump intellect. The stronger the emotional response, the more likely to act on it. What does it take to plan out and the do something like this? Scary stuff when you think about it.

She is clearly psychotic, he BARELY escaped torture. What happens next time in a year or two? What happens when the kids disappoint her? Forgive, yes. But take the kids and run!

And very intense. It certainly stirs is a lot of feelings and emotions in the reader (me). Taking the story at face value, that she really was intending to carry out her torture, then the wife is a very disturbed person. This story shares much in common with one of your other stories, you know the one where the wife actually flogs hubby with the riding crop. This one seems like a draft copy of that one. My comments are also applicable about both stories. You are revealing much about yourself as you are your characters. I get it...you get off with the whole BDSM paradigm, especially where the female/wife character gets to be in a position of power over her male partner. What does this tell me about yourself? If you are male, you undoubtedly had episodes early in your childhood where you found yourself under the thumb of a woman, possibly your mother. Your father was essentially a wimp who pandered to his wife's demands, demands he could never satisfy fully. You may also be a female who just gets off with plots that place men in helpless situations and where women are in the position of exerting violence, i.e. flogging, ball torture, humiliation, pegging, or any number of combinations of these. Seriously, this is the area of Fetish and is not worthy of being placed in the Loving Wives genre category. I would also suggest that you make an appointment with your therapist to adjust your meds because through your stories you reflect serious psychological issues. I can but hope that you are not a parent of young children.
