ah life

As a 50 something old man who loves and enjoys his 50 something wife, your story touches the romantic in me so I follow with interest, however your slowly losing me as I feel it lacks that inner person all the characters seem too lost and as such have no passion, somebody needs to shit or get off the pot. Even so still an enjoyable read thanks 4 your effort to entertain & 4 listening.

Sometimes timing is off

I've just discovered this story and thus am behind. As a 40 something who has a "very good friends- without benefits" 'Denise' who choose a widower's affections instead of my own the story has an eerie familiarity and sadness.

I am sure more obvious passion is coming. It is after all the story of those who have loved and lost, who will surely love passionately again.

You relate a story well and capture the nuances of workplace friendships, the importance of friendships in recovery and the challenges of re-finding yourself when life has pushed you in to the weeds.

not bad

though a couple months have passed since the story started and he's still a whiney little fuck isn't he? Get over it, sure remember, but he's drowning in self pity. bad things happen, move on bitch
