Brilliant story ...

with a storyline that is both original as well as enjoyable.

Disappointing

Properly told, this story could be a bonkbuster epic, set against a shattering backdrop of war, but after a promising start you send your character off to a hideaway island where he may as well be shipwrecked from the start. (If the character is fleeing Singapore on a boat without orders, is that not desertion?)

Sorry to say - respecting your age and enthusiasm - I found it poorly written, and sometimes unintelligible. Proofread, or find an editor.

Interesting....a good read if one is onto history but nothing much in terms of erotica....

The historical aspect seemed accurate enough except...

It should be Malaya...Malaysia doesn't exist yet before 1963.

There are no universities in KL at that time.

Bashir is a man's name.

Da was suddenly Laila at one point?

Loved it. Great suspense scenario. Sure it could be better edited and stretched out a lot longer , but the price was perfect and even the eroticism was enjoyable. Definite 5**
