I still love this series, but I am a little confused as to the disappearance of his sister that was mentioned in the first couple chapters, I mean she doesn't even show up a a side character like his mom, and it just seems as if the character has been removed from his life without mention.

You got me there. I just forgot all about her. I had to search the text to find mention of her, and in chapter 2 there she is, an unnamed, two-year-old. My bad.

It's gonna stay that way as there's no reason to bring her back into the picture at this point. Sorry, but good spot Mr. or Ms. Reader.
