It was cloyingly sweet, and the Twilight references made me shudder a bit, but somehow it just worked. More depth would've been nice, perhaps more detail, exploration of their relationship etc, but for what it was, it was perfect. Made me smile fondly, with a tinge of regret for opportunities missed. Keep writing, dear. You've a knack for it.

You have just coupled together the ideal high school sweetheart story I had always envisioned for myself (unfortunately I am no longer in high school) and paired it with one of my all time favorite sagas.

Comparing Alana to Bella is kind of an insult to Alana, but whatever. :P

On a serious note, you definitely need an editor. Lots of little goofs, and you seem to have no conception of how to use commas. Not trying to be mean, just spur you into improving. Your characterization, pacing, and construction are rock-solid. <3
