Thank heavens for writers who still believe that to many the term "Loving Wives" means just that. Thank you from an old soldier whose final hitch overseas ended when I arrived home to join a very pregnant wife on the night before Christmas Eve. Thanks for the memories that this story stirred. BTW, the loving wife of 52 years is still the most important person in this old guys life so for some people romances come true

Once again, great story! Glad you wrote a sequel for it. So either 1) you have a lot of military background experience, like me, or 2) you are phenomenal at researching before you do a story! (or both). Which one is it? Kudos to your attention to detail in your writing

Even though this story wound up in "Erotic Couplings" instead of in "Loving Wives" where you think it belongs, it is still an excellent story. Of course, as sad as it is to say, "Loving Wives", on this website, usually means "Cheating Wives" which is something I've complained about since my first day here. But you are absolutely right, this story was, indeed, about a true "Loving Wife".

Patricia51 Both of your only in my dream stories I was taken back to my time on tour. The first in my dreams story was almost as if it was me that the story relayed. Only in my dreams another year. This one was a complete other way to how my return home, I found out my wife had found other ways to be happy whilst I was away with many dates with many men. I still had one letter that I opened on the plane home saying how much she missed me and wanted me home soon. As it happened I was called back whilst on patrol and was lifted out and then flown via Germany refule and back to the UK with no chance to contact her. I had a lift home from Brize by army car and arrived home to find another male in my place, my kids at their Nans. That was over 20 years ago, now I am married to my second and final wife but only one of my three kids stuck with me. You write stories that are really nice to read and the happy ending to this one brought a tear to this old war dogs eyes. Keep writing please.

What matters is that it is a story full of love, respect and truth.

In fact, loving wives, it should be about relationships like that. Love above all, despite all the difficulties.
