It looked as though the DOJ would get what they wanted after all. The ouster of a questionable chief of police, Hillary would get at least a slap on the wrist and be on the street. They also would get his ass out of law enforcement permanently. For Roger the burning question was what next.

I thought I was finished.

i thought I was finished to be honest. I prefer to end a story letting people wonder what happens and fill in the blanks themselves. You imagination is lots better than mine. I just open the door and let you wander inside.

They are interesting things

That's why people are frustrated by the fact that so many of the plot lines you create go unexplored when the stories end abruptly. Being more of an optimist, I like to think that the reason you do that is so you have a jumping off place to start a new story someday.

I really don't care how many or how few read these stories. I write to stay sane. I end my stories the way life ends. Every thing in life is either open ended or a lie.

I wish you had said you think you are writing interesting things, but 'in my opinion you are not'. Truth is it's your opinion. I value all comments good and bad, but I learned early on that it is just the opinion of the person and has nothing to do with what I write, just what they read.
