My main recommendation is to avoid repeating over and over the same basic information, like a kind of mantra, as if telling us what "really" happened and then reiterating it for our opinion makes it interactive and maybe sexier. It can feel like padding; far better to build in plenty of detail as you explore your initial reactions and the events as they occur.
