Nice story. Given the misconception on her part I can understand why she never made the first move but what was wrong with him? Shoulda, coulda, woulda done it years ago! (But then there would have been no story!)

I really like the story. It makes sense that she thought he was gay like that, and it makes sense that he didn't want to move in on her right after the rape, and it's just awesome for a gal to read a story about a guy who is caring like that. Now if only you could make him real...

For a good while there I thought it was going to be one of those maddening stories where everything goes to hell because the two MCs refuse to listen to each other and neither one allows the other to finish a sentence uninterrupted, so important things are left unsaid. Fortunately, this pair of dunderheads finally got their shit together to bring about a satisfactory conclusion.
