Very nice beginning and well written with great descriptions. At least I hope this was just the beginning. I'd definitely like more. I haven't read Sacrafice, but don't let the comparison's bother you. There really is no such thing as a completely original story. One can always find something to compare it to. I was thinking it was somewhat like Beauty and the Beast, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying it. Please keep it up. 5 stars. ~K.
