The depth of characterization in this story is absolutely superb. Together with the complex and intriguing storyline, the story is turning into a great.

The depth of strength of the characters is utterly fantastic. That Kim was subjected to such a horrid whipping left me wanting to punish the police women with the same whipping. Perhaps in future chapters we will see such a turnaround with the police woman subjected to such a brutal beating (yes, a beating not a whipping). Whipping is for punishment. A beating is just that. Kim was beaten. I hope that she recovers a least a part of her dignity. The story is turning into a great read. I can't wait to read more.
