Click hereAs I laid all of this out for Raku I forgot the most important thing, which I realized when he demanded in a very forceful tone for me to explain what was happening. As quickly as I could I told him that humans such as us were locked in a battle for their lives above this planet with a race of reptilian beings from another galaxy. He did not understand the "galaxy" part but he did understand about the reptilians and mentioned that some of their ancient legends tell of such creatures from the stars attacked Angkor long ago.
As he turned to leave for the village I asked him to inform the village that they will encounter injured humans at some time over the next few days. I requested that they be given as much assistance as possible as many of them would be badly wounded. Raku understood and before he left he wished me well. He took a few steps away from the temple when I called out to add, "Bring the wounded to the temple when its safe to do so, the monks and I will tend to them!"
I also explained that they will see black obelisks (rockets) like the ones we had encountered when we first arrived here. I detailed the threat that these obelisks presented and the reason for the villagers to stay deep in the caves until the obelisks stop falling from the sky. Raku did not understand how rain could be black and I tried to explain that it was a liquid dispensed from the obelisks that would be falling like rain but again, he did not understand. I dumbed it down for him enough that he could understand then I added that the villagers will be safe from the black rain but the humans fighting in the sky above will be harmed greatly if it gets on their skin. Raku nodded then followed up with a verbal reply so that I knew that he understood.
Raku carried out my instructions then went to the caves with the villagers. He sent Attu his second in command to the temple with six other men to assist me, and protect me. Along with the men came several women that insisted on going to the temple with their men to pray and to help out when needed. I knew that if my dream was correct, their help and the help of many more would be needed before the next three days had passed.
I only browse Literotica to look for your next chapter. We had to wait a while for this one but I enjoyed it and look forward to the continuation of Kitty's saga.
Your story line is intriguing, I was raised speaking American and you are definitely
better with it than I am.
Yet another great chapter. I so love your writing and yearn to read even more. Keep it up. You have a loyal fan in me.
