I absolutely love these stories. The one thing I dislike is Lydia. I've tried so hard to identify with her but no matter what she does or say she seems to come off as really whiney and immature. I like to think that's it's all part of her character development so I'll keep reading. Keep up the good work!

when I was a youngster I never took to the sword and sorcery type books of course I watched the sword and the sorceress and beastmaster and such films then I read this story upto chapter three dont know how I forgot to check in for more but luckily I did now of course I need my fix so have you more planned ? good luck with your writing anyway regards andy

First off, thank you all for your patience. I've been dealing with the family and personal issues in the last few months, so progress has been slow. But I'm not giving up! I've got my hands on a new(ish) laptop and have been trying to get some writing done at every opportunity. I got some major progress done while line waiting at PAX and been slipping in a few paragraphs during my breaks at work. I've got a bit more work to do as my muse hasn't always been talking to me. But I promise you, this will get done.

This is one of my favorite stories. Interesting characters and exciting plot. I do hope you have time to finish it. It would be a real shame for something this well written to die of abandonment.

I've been a science fiction addict since I began reading; and I read.a lot. So I know what I'm talking about when I say great story! You have real talent. Please stick with it! Ok, I admit to certain selfish motivations as I would like to read the rest of the story; but you are too good at this to just stop. Dont write a story if u dont intend to complete it...4th chapter in 2012 & 5th in 2013..try to complete the story, bcoz the readers r still waiting...total waste...its a gr8 story but .no feeling for the readers that are waiting for so long...

I know you have probably heard this before , but please continue the story. I know you probably have a life outside of this, but when you write a story such as this, it deserves to be finished. I find your storytelling amazing!!!! The story is so good!!! I love the characters, the plot, I love everything about it!!!!! Too many times have I seen stories like this that are such high quality, but yet the remain unfinished. It saddening to see such a thing to happen to something as beautiful as this. I love this story because it feels so alive. Too many of the stories on this website are nothing more than just plain old smut. But this story, along with a few others, has far greater potential than the other stories that you find on this site. I truly believe that a story like this is such high quality that if it were published as a book I would buy it without a second thought. I hate to see such talent go unused. It truly is an inspiring tale. So if you do read this comment, then please continue the story!!!

There is another story here about an ex-marine who is a mall guard. The author died leaving the work unfinished.

I AM NOT saying this author died but I would suggest something untoward has happened. There was too much care and effort in crafting this story for the writer to just walk away

I have read this twice now and was hoping for the next installment or finished by now. Much to my disappointment I have seen neither in the past 2 years. This story is much to good to leave like this. I seriously hope that you have not forgotten about your fans that you have made with this publication.

Another story goes down the shitter people. I'm so tired of getting into stories and then all the sudden the writers just quit. They won't say why most of the time or they say that they are going to complete it and never do. It's gotten to the point to where I am ready to just say that if you're not going to finish your story don't bother starting it in the first place.

I've seen a guy who's done some spin off's from some of the unfinished stories. They are just his attempt to give closure, they don't follow how the writer was going, most likely that's impossible. But Path of the Necromancer and this one are a couple he has said he wants to do.

These awesome writers are giving you an amazing short story for free and you have the nerve to whine if they don't finish it. If you can't be happy and satisfied with what they are giving you then shut up and buy a book.

Unfortunately the title of the story is also the end of the story. John died, was brought back to life, hence a new life. It is the author's choice whether or not to continue on with this story, spin off other stories, or just leave it be. The story was pretty terrific, regardless of whether or not I would like it to continue.........

Lydia has been a major bitch with her head stuck up soo far up her ass that she wouldnt know selflessness if it hit her in the face. SHe might love john or whatever but she has absolutely no regard for any one elses feelings!! That thankless bitch has been throwing shit at sirenna and even sasha from time to time, she should be glad that sirenna helped them reanimate his corpse, and she accepted her offer to take her place for the sacrifice??? what pathetic morals smh she shouldnt be the mate, it should be sasha she is by far the kindest and sexiest of the lot. I mean that lydia bitch has been accepting peoples MAJOR sacrifices without much of a fight, even though they dont owe her shit! Just kill her off or teach her to share for christ's sake

Did you pass away or what. You left the story hanging midway. If you've really read Blazing Glory then at least acknowledge that you don't know how to end a story. it's not even halfway through. This sucks and unless you finish this I don't think anyone will ever read anything from you again IF you try to publish another story

Of all of these SciFy stories on this site that are incomplete. What the hell is wrong with all of these authors? They start writing a great story and after 4-5 chapters they never finish them. Literotica needs to clean up this site if a story goes 1-2 years as incomplete it should be removed.

I keep checking back every couple of months for the last few years hoping to see an update. I pray that nothing happened to the author and it's just life getting busy. Love the story and the potential it has.

Potentially great story by why stop? Even if life intervenes. It shouldn't take this long. I was starting to enjoy this as I've yet to see more stories like this. Rather than short crap ones that end poorly
