Gave it a five

Gave it a five for the over all story and original story line, also for the sex.

Gave it a three for being too long.

Gave it a two for trying to impress with all the big words.

Gave it a one for using an excellent story for your personal views on the planet.

Over all I found your story very stimulating and arousing and love to read more but with just the ladies and yourself without all the other useless stuff that took up at least two pages.

the sex was perfect.

A Stroke Story with Brains

The author obviously has real-world experience, as well as a credible writing style.

A bit of grammar editing might have helped readers move faster, but it was a minor invconvenience in such a hot, realistic tale.

I am certainly ready to read many more like this, with the same or different characters.

A sequel regarding the girls' fates, once the manifesto has been released, would be outstanding.

impressive!

wow, definitely a one-of-a-kind story. the thought you put into their save-the-world demands was just awesome. the nerd talk was cute and neil was so adorably considerate. great read.

Thanks for the comments, everyone.

I should probably have put in an introduction to say that this submission was written for the 2012 Earth Day contest.

@ GobletHolly. Yes, the list of demands was the product of a lot of thought, but not by me. I did credit the original author (in passing), one Lester Brown of the Earth Policy Institute. For those interested, you may wish to read the original source, which is available as a free download here:

http://www.earth-policy.org/books/wote

The EPI does ask that they be notified if someone uses their work for educational and other purposes, but I'm not sure if I have the nerve for that!

The actual estimated (by the EPI) cost of implementing these demands would be in the region of US$200 billion a year, or less than 3/4 of 1% of the GDP of the EU or United States, or about 1/8 of the world's combined military budgets. This also has to be balanced against the costs of inaction.

Transarmament is a separate idea, and is based heavily on the work of Gene Sharp and Adam Roberts. The idea is that if nobody has an offensive capacity then nobody needs a defensive one, and we can stop wasting US$1600 billion a year on "defense". More can be found here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transarmament

I am in the process of writing a *much* longer story (novel length) with a closely related theme. Chapter one, which was based on an idea for a previous Earth Day contest that I missed the deadline for, is available (see my short "Loving the Forest" in my previous submissions). I'm writing the rest of the story by popular demand.

Thanks again. Keep the positive comments and constructive criticism coming, and don't forget to vote!

lol you should totally contact EPI

and tell them you've cited their material in an online educational piece, already viewed 16K+ times in under a week :)

i wondered whether brown was real, or not - thx for the note! guess i could have googled... also, i didn't think you made all that stuff up by yourself, lol, but you DID do a lot more research than you typically see for a literotica story. cheers.

One of the sexiest things I've ever read.

There is *nothing* hotter than a man who knows what he's doing, and loves doing it. (except maybe a Scotsman who knows what he's doing) :)

Thanks for adding intellect as well - erotic doesn't mean "dumb reader".

Sweet, passionate, thoughtful, curious, sexy, caring, mature, adventurous. I'll be dreaming of Neal tonight...

Thanks for the comment, anonyous. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Dream of Neil all you like. ;) I'm glad it passed your wetness test! And, hey, if you're going to be anywhere near Edinburgh, drop me a PM. ;)

My reading list

My coffee table has copies of 'The Oil &Gas Journal', 'Forbes', & 'Playboy'. Otherwise the story was well done. ~CajunBill

Hell of a story

I love that you managed to write a feminist threesome story, demonstrate enthusiastic consent, show proper communication in a relationship, and have your characters have more to their lives than sex (not the activism: the seminar, and getting coffee) all in 7 pages.

You also managed to write an erotic story where the sex isn't the wish-fulfilment, which has to be a first. :-) Now to go read up on transarmament...
