Wonderful chapter! I like how he is working his way in with the sailors and that you are leaving some tension and ambiguity there as to where his heart will go.

This feels like a story that could reach 30 or more chapters. I love the pace and your characters have so much life to them. This is one of the few stories that I check into yor bio page to see how it is comming if I haven't seen a new post for awhile. Keep up the good work.

I should also say that you hit a subject that I enexplicably love. I have never found a sailing story I diddn't enjoy.

I enjoy the story. Every element is well balanced. Just darn good writing.

Jack's meltdown was timed perfectly. I was laughing at the confusion of his shipmates over references to his home world even though it was sad to know Jack was experiencing so much pain.

Brilliantly written chapter and I was so pleased to read a taste of what is in store for Jack once he gets off the ship. The dynamics of ship life you've managed to convey expertly. I'm so looking forward to reading the dynamics on Castle life too :-)

mentions of confucius and nimet were bogh nice comical relief. Glad jack finally had a meltdown, felt like it was coming. Im also glad he was mature about it afterward. Keep crankin out the chapters

This is a phenomenal read. I liked Young Wolves, but your writing and plot line in Outlander is a big leap forward. Earlier in the series you said that with YW you flet that you had to have sex in every chapter. I think some of the best stories on this site are some with the least sex in them. It isn't because they don't have sex that they are good, but because the sex evolves out of the development of characters and their relationships.

Can't wait for the next chapter.

I was cracking up for several minutes about that Confucius joke. My mom would always start a sentence with "Confucius say..." and then add something stupid. Yours was brilliant. I'm still cracking up. Man i cant wait for the next chapter. You have a great story here, my friend.

He hastily peeked out once more before climbing onto the deck while the Outlander was not in sight. If he hurried, he could get his paltry meal and be back below deck before the Outlander saw him. His hopes were dashed though, when the Outlander emerged from the poop deck door holding a bundle of clothes.

Their eyes met and an unspoken understanding passed between them. The Outlander slowly laid the bundle on a nearby rope spindle. He never broke eye contact with Monch as he strode forward with violent intent.

Monch cursed in frustration and prepared, yet again, to pit his fists of bone and flesh against a heart made of iron.😂😂😂😂
