The MC's character was so feminine he would barely have enough testosterone to achieve a hard on, that is apparent simply by the fact that he thought after being belittled and betrayed, cheated on and lied to that he should also give up sex, bloody hell, not just that but that the wife continued to get all the same affection from him, and after everything her only consequence are him leaving her. This makes this story like so many on this site an advertisement for cheating hoes, why is the world through the female lens always so distorted from actual reality?

Brilliant - except that the four-year solution was way too long. Never would have happened with anything of a real man. Not a smart scenario that way.

Good, emotionally complete endings are harder to design and craft than are good beginnings. You've used an unremarkable, common plot theme and gave it only slight adornment of originality...... but that's OK..... IF your finish the story. That's different than to just stop typing.

I have to say that waiting for a divorce is more common than you think. In fact that is exactly what i have done. I waited 11 years to get my divorce. Why? Because i was hosed in my first marriage since I went for the divorce as soon as I found out she was cheating, My children were virtually non-existant since the ex made sure i never got to see them. Fucking courts wouldn't help me so when the 2nd wife did the same thing i waited.

I really have a hard time believing that a man would wait that long to get a divorce from a cheating wife! His girls are grown and would understand the situation!

But who the hell wants to go finish out his life working in India? And two. I bet one or both of the daughters take care of their Mother. So who got the best of the deal? Mom, living comfortably with the daughters or Dad, sweating away in India?

It would have made more sense for the husband to set up trust funds after he found out rather than wait four years. That would let them be distributed over time with the stipulation that they not be used to support the cheating slut. If she did not keep track of the finances it just seems more reasonable to handle it that way rather than subject himself to four years of forced celibacy. Of course from my point of view it would have been even better if he had taken out huge insurance policies on the slut and then spent his time figuring out how to kill her without getting caught, but then I do so love a complete burn the bitch solution.

How did he have the stamina or will-power to wait 4 years? If the youngest just got married, she had to be old enough 4 years earlier to handle a divorce for a cheating mother. He should never have waited 4 years....way too long. He should have got his finances in shape and dumped the cheating wife way earlier. How could he live with her for 4 years and not strangle her? Good ending though...but it should have happened years earlier. Thank for the story.

Oh my! How actually perfectly written this is. I wish all the cuckolding stories were written this same way. And to have some of the ones who think they want to be cuckolded really talked to. It will cost you your marriage in the end.

I liked the calculation and the tone of the main character.

I liked that the other man wasn't some asshole who was dissing the hubby. We read too often some guy verbally abusing the hubby. This guy just enjoyed the fact that he was getting a free piece of ass...which I think most of us would enjoy re adultery. No need to be nasty about it.

I do not buy that she wasn't emotionally invested in the guy after 4 years. He is going to find another job and she'll probably be warming the OM's bed....though it probably won't work out. From what I understand, less than 10% of relationships started by infidelity actually work out.

Still...sad truth...she'll find someone else. Her lifestyle will take a bump, but as long as guys think with their peckers and try to buy affection with their wallet, she'll find someone...at least for the short term.

The story could have a little more flesh on the bones, but is does illustrate a point. There are men out there that take their commitments very seriously. When you get married, you make a life long commitment to your spouse. It is done in a public ceremony and written on paper. When you father children, you make a life long commitment in blood, your own blood. There are many men without honor in this world. They do not keep their word. There are many women without honor as well. Generally speaking, it has been my experience that honor does not mean the same thing to the sexes. Women tend to adapt, rationalize and justify their bad behavior. Men generally are not as flexible when it comes to reality. Honoring your commitment to your children even while living with a betraying bitch is a living hell. When a man with honor is on a mission he can walk through hell to honor his commitment. He will get stronger, his resolve will harden, and he will achieve his goal. Those people without honor are weak. When they find themselves walking through hell they will be torn to shreds.

The only problem I have with this story is its to short but you said that up front.

What kind of husband takes a drug that keeps him from having sex for four years so he can pretend to have a loving relationship with his cheating wife for the sake of the children? I imagine you wrote the story because you thought of the twist ending first, but you could write a better story if you start with the characters' personalities and motivations and then let the story flow from there.

I love a spouse who takes their time, who plans out the correct retribution toward the cheating mate. Just because it takes a while to lay it all out, as long as they get what is coming to them in the end, well, that is beautiful!

My only wish?? That I was as calm and composed as your main character. "4 years and 2 monthes ago..." Excellent story. However there is a little mistake only. I would have writen that the husband remains the same town in a condo and look for a other mate for him. He could see his grandchildren and he could laugh about ex.

He resolved it with this cold blooded calculation, just getting it right for him and his daughters. There was no use in seeking something with Kelly that was simply not there. Public assistance for her and Dennis will probably not stay with her during his transition and after. Calmly and quietly and complete.

The self imposed celibacy could have been shortened, when the children finished their schooling. That choice to so completely go without? In any case, the manner of their complete destruction of their lives of the cheaters was well done. It went from the illusion of a problem, to genuine problems for them, and a solution for him.

I liked this story and it was a real life situation, had meaning, and summarized the family situation nicely. Is the story to be continued? RAG

The writing was flowing; unfortunately the same could not be said about the coherency of the husband’s character/motivations. His M.O: consisted of a combination of measures, you’d be hard pressed to believe could be humanly possible. Take a voluntary self emasculation over four (!) years, combined with the mission impossible of a normal show of affection to the woman he knows is cheating on him over the same period of time., all for the purpose of presenting a false façade of a happily married couple for the grown up children… You have to wonder what lesson they could really take from this charade about married life…

To suggest the woman is better off without him is to imply in some way he was the problem. The only way you could be there is to have a brain disfunction. He held it together to get the girls into their lives then be collapsed the world on the two cheats and liars. Then he walks off to India where he has knowledge to sell and a white body that most women there would worship. The wife is so intelligent and gets such a good salary as a receptionist at age 40 she will be fine in life, laffs. The bozo she fucks with was totally dependent on his wife and family for his life and livelyhood, oh well maybe he isnt to old to enlist in the French Foreign Legion. You learned that Kelly began cheating on you with Dennis after you told the sexual dysfunction drug 8 years ago. She cheated for four years. The you younger daughter got married at age 20 (you were 40 then and living in India). Spin of on this is that you were 19 when Amy was conceived. I assume that your older daughter is maybe one or two years older than Amy. Thus, you and Kelly were married in your teens. How old precisely was Kelly at the time of your marriage? Additionally, I don't understand why you were experimenting on yourself with the sexual dysfunction drug you helped develop, which as a consequence of, your wife, eight years and 2 months ago started cheating on you. I don't blame her; you'll certainly a weirdo. Then, you stop the drug and "it's a miracle" your are immediately back to your normal pre-drug induced state - after four years of taking the drug, you have got to by kidding! My take on this story is that Kelly cheated on you because you did not show a sexual interest in her and you also disrespected her by taking the sexually inhibitory drug.
