Your writing in the first person conveys the impression that it is Diane actually "telling the story." Makes it seem more personal and more exciting!
Rather than Victoria being the means to easier experiences for Diane, I would prefer for her to become enchanted by all that is happening and wish to take over unilateral control of Diane...temporarily. Since we're looking at three additional months in Sessia, if Gretchen had to return to the states for a week, or two, or more, she would need to temporarily transfer ownership of Diane to Victoria...who would not be more lenient, but to the contrary. In fact Victoria would relish having control over "her own slave" and take full advantage of the opportunities it would present.
