Have read the myths and legends

About the Silkies....a lovely tender story...a song goes...

I am a man upon the land

I am a silkie in the sea

And when I'm far and far from land

My home it is in Sule Skerrie

Song from the Orkney Islands......

A nice little story...

With some truths and hidden meanings. Thank you for writing.

A wonderfully written story

Like the erection of the old man, tears are not something that comes easily to me...but this tale did that for me.

Congratulations on a wonderfully written story of love, loneliness and aging.

Very good, thanks.

Excellent story, well written. It's a real gemstone amongst the sand. (Jade?)

Fare thee well, Selkie.

A unique strory

When I started to read this story I looked to see how many pages there were and I was saddened that there was only one because after reading two paragraphs I was already in love with it.

6', 186#, published writer. I have worn many hats. As a young man I was crazy, carefree and making wads of money. Then along came a messed up war and I was cannon fodder. From there I came home even crazier, and survived a 120 MPH crash which got me 15 years in a wheelchair...
