... most talented and pretty ladies. South Beach is abuzz this morning with praise for this wonderful holiday tale. You even brought tears to young Gabby's eyes... BRAVO from the scouries family!
A wonderful sweet story for the season. Thanks for sharing. I think you really do get better with each story, so write more!
Your writing is truly impressive. I've loved everything of yours that I've read. I hope the future brings many more for the fortunate readers on Lit.
Yes even as an old man who has seen a lot and done a lot, I cried.! One of the best writings on here. No need to say more. Thanks. JAG/TSO

Very effective in parts, dragged a bit in others, even the sex scenes bordered on overkill. This story might have been less "bitty" if, instead of writing it over a year's time, you composed it in one or two sittings, with the white heat of inspiration. At your best, you are extremely gifted, I just wish the story was a little more even in interest and writing quality.
By the law of averages, there absolutely MUST be something wrong with this story. But you must have hidden it deep in the middle of page...I dunno, page eighteen???? Beautiful, delightful, wonderful, plausible. Very nice work!

I too, as a fairly crusty old man, had to stop and wipe the tears from my eyes. You speak to a longing that is sometimes hard to live with.
Well Aren't you and your village something!!! Nice of you to give them some nice open credit.

Some story's need to percolate longer than others and in this case was certainly worth the wait.

Nice work Authoress - you are looked forward 2.

With Very High Regard
I am not surprised that you have been working on this for a while, your time has been well spent and is much appreciated, certainly by this reader. A nice touch with the candy motif in the story conjoured a certain picture to mind. Merry Christmas and thanks again TK. Cheers. -- UK CYNIC.
And the result is sultry sex, exquisitely rendered. As Bob Cratchit said in my favorite version of A Christmas Carol, "A triumph, my dear. Another triumph."
I cannot find anything that needs improvement - just a thoroughly wonderful and romatic story.
Hmmm, might have been interesting to know, what was her prior New Years engagement?
Please, keep writing, Kitty, I'll be looking for your stories.
Good character development. There was tension, you left open the possibility that Jack may have completely blown his chances. I really enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to reading some more of your stories. Thank you! [Gualterio]
What a fantastic love story. Thank you for the time and effort you gave to make this story memorable! I look forward to reading your other stories.
