I am grateful for your kind compliment. I was equally blown away when two separate Dubliners e-mailed me today to compliment me on having done a good job with Brigid's dialogue. I was pretty nervous about it, but at least some people are enjoying it and that is all you can hope for.

Ch. 2 is rough drafted, but needs a bit of revising. In the next few days...

PS--Brigid is in it, but the focus will shift from character to character as we move through the chapters. April's turn in Ch. 2.

It might be better if you don't spell what she's saying phonetically, it took me out of the story a bit. I know you said you don't have much experience with contemporary Irish speech but I've never heard anyone talk like that. Good story and a strong character though, look forward to more from you
