Not really sure why Mr Jefferies called him to begin with as he certainly had nothing to offer in her defense. Unless she was going to plead temporary insanity caused by her husbands comments. Well played by hubby and it sure will make their divorce good news for him since she won't be fighting it and certainly won't be awarded much in the aftermath of her actions. Keep writing.

I have always thought that cheating wives deserved to feel a little of the pain they so easily meted out.

This is very serious. It can alter your life. An ingrown toenail is very painful and there is better than even odds it will happen again. People please stop laughing this man is in pain.

Because of the timer it takes for symptoms to develop plus the gestation period, it could be argued that his lie precipitated her actions making him culpable of attempted manslaughter.

Much more entertaining then a long drawn out BTB story.

This is nice and tight from the initial words. Since first we do not know the time span of her affair nor her thinking capacity the idea that testing time should be relevant is negated....

Now this is an action I can deal with, actually admire! Of course the divorce will be a dream once she's inside. The offending party has got just a little less than he deserves! After all he is still breathing!
