Loved the whole thing, felt like a good slow burn. Had all the elements of a really good story. 5 Stars to you Jake. Thanks for sharing, looking forward to reading your other stories too. love your writing style...!
A fine job!! You, my friend, have talent!
I've been in the country described and you nailed it.
LOVE YOUR WORK. Keep it com'n👍💥💥💥💥💥
Heck yes write some more. I like a great imagination and having been born in Wyoming makes your story telling a real treat.
Excellent story. Very believable and enjoyable. Write more westerns please.
To answer your question about writing more westerns , my answer is a big yes, I enjoyed reading your story and was wishing there was more. Please continue with your ideas on the subject. Thank You for your stories, bunky28
Good mix of plot lines and characters, done by a good writer. Thanks!
Nice read. Loved the setting. Not many know of Keith County or the tributaries of the Platte rivers.
Except those that have bad endings, of course.
and hope you write more western stories. You're an author I will come back to .. thanks. I appreciate your effort and smooth writing style. Scotty
This is the first of your stories I have read and really enjoyed it. I am a native of Colorado and recognized many of the locations in your story. I enjoy Merle Haggard's music and my father who was a Country Western preformer had a opportunity to set in with Merle in 1964 at the Guymond, OK Rodeo.
I have read many westerns and really enjoyed this one. Keep em coming.
So eat it you queer. gave it a 5. This ass wipe easterner loves our money and our cocks fucking their sisters and mother.
This is the way (Superb) ,Westerns, should be written .I have been reading around (
1,500 to 1,600 books),a year, for the last (10)years.75%,of which have been Westerns. You,have the Gift of Writing Westerns,Keep it coming !!!
i really liked it but i think you put toomuch in too few pages. still very good. yes please on the sequel.
It may have been your first but it was great - I got the feeling it was all real and happening - not just a tale.
Well done as always - we need more from you - addicts always do - but your are the pusher here heh
I grew up with Zane Grey and Luke Short, La mour came later and took my fancy. I don't know if you still write but I would suggest different stories as you basically finished this one. Vey good.
I did enjoy your first Western. Thanks!
Yes please gives another part to this great story if this is your first try you did very good I look forward to others and at least a sequel to this one what does Bud do how about Roxie what Happens to the ranch that Colin had there are endless ways for this to continue keep up the good work I really enjoy your writing Larry
Continue on with the western srories. I mostly read only westerns and this was a very enjoyable one.
it was a good read. i envy your ability and enjoy your style. keep it up, pal!
I really likes the first three installments, and was looking forward to finding another, and was also comparing you favorably with Louis L'Amour, but you got in a hurry to end it and the last installment was a little lacking
I think you should write a sequelto this storie. I alsoo think youshould write other western stories.
An excellent story, and from what I can tell, appropriate for the time and place (in terms of passion and sex). A sequel could work, or perhaps just a different story.

Candy must have really been pleased to see him all busted up from the MacPherson fight thereby giving her an almost clear field! I liked that you made her explain those initial negative comments!
This is a fine tale and worthy of the song. I look forward to more from you. These invitationals are great, thanks for working so hard.
Louis L'Amour would approve. Everything you write comes out great. Write whatever form suits your mood!
