Quite an achievement, reaching the high level erotic pitch in such a brief story. Usually I find that the sexual energy is sharpened with more character development, but this story manages to subsitute the excitment of the mystery! Has thematic parallel with The Magus; the book by Jown Fowles. Good writing!
