Click hereMy heart sank. Despite the awkwardness of taking my daughter's boyfriend, I really liked him and thought we may have a chance.
"Don't tell him yet, hon. Are you even sure you want to keep it?"
"Yes. I want to have a family."
My heart sunk further.
I was crying blindly around the room when I landed in Nathan's arms.
I told him Jenn was pregnant but kept the details to myself. I wanted Nathan for myself and this pregnancy would complicate things.
He held me close and told me everything would be alright as my tears soaked into his shirt. I knew I was falling hard for him.
I’m not sure how much I like this, it’s taken a twist that maybe I don’t want it to go, but you wrote it so I'll have to read some more to see.
I really like that each of these characters has information the other doesn't know they have. That Sandy knew/knows about Jenn and Nathan from the start puts a neat spin on things too. I'm looking forward to what comes next.
Eisbehr,I sure hope we'll find out the real father isn't Nathan but someone else. Great read, ciao.
