Not very Tantric really is it? Great little fuck session but out of control after about five minutes, so much for slowing down. And Tantra is not 5th century Hindi; the Hindis wrote it down in the 5th century but it was there long before the Hindis invaded India - saying they invented it is like saying European settlers invented Native American culture. Fun read though, although if you do go to a Tantric teacher with that in mind you're going to be very disappointed.

This was only a tiny portion of what tantra is about, and it is somewhat warped in the direction of sexual gratification rather than the energy flows and controls of actual tantra. Like someone pointed out, if you approach a tantra session with your emphasis on how it will enhance your sexual pleasure you will be disappointed and once the instructor realizes s/he will be mildly annoyed with you.

If you actually approach tantra as it should be taught you will reap many benefits, among which will be an enhancement of all your body functions thus leading to heightened awareness and a possible improvement in your sexual activities.

Any of the eight yoga studies, if extended into your life rather than being left behind at the yoga center's door, will help expand your consciousness thus making it easier to respond to your partner's well-being. (i.e., better sex)

Aside from my comment about the focus, this is a well-written story and was fun to read. I'm sorry the author hasn't chosen to treat us to further work in the last couple of years. I hope there will be a resumption of postings in the future.
