Caleb has a lot to answer for, it is something to be shown the consequences of your own action and know that even as an Ancient you must concede to the other half of yourself because YOU ARE NOT THE BE ALL AND END ALL AND YOU NEED TO LEARN TO TEMPER AND LISTEN NOT JUST REACT WHEN YOU FEEL PUT OUT!!!!! When Callain, Annie and Anakat. make themselves available, Caleb better sit and pay attention. LOL - I love these characters, the one thing I really see thru out all of your writings is the connection of all these beings. It may take them a while to figure it out, but they are all connected and rely on one another. The evil factions that think to destroy them, don't have this connection. I think that this group can learn from the past. The point is they need to pay attention to the past in order not to re-create their destruction. Here I go getting all cerebral. LOL I LOVE YOUR WORK AND...., no matter what my musings lead me to believe, I will just wait for your next chapter and become intrigued all over again. This is good stuff.

Oh, by the way..., I think the evil black void inside Kothi is really a good thing in that it wants blood, what better killing force is their when protecting those you love in a Tears of the Fallen kind of way? Just asking. Can't wait to see how that force of energy will be useful and positive for Kothi and the others.

I seriously get frightened that one morning I'll wake up and this website will be gone, and with it, all of the FTI series- and I'll never be able to read them again....

Here's to hoping that the series will someday be available for e-readers... I'm more than willing to pay cash for a good story...

I'm just sitting here crying for a multitude (ok, maybe not that many) reasons. It felt short, but I think that's because I read the teaser on your blog. I forgot that Brandon got hurt! That started the tears and they didn't stop until Caleb told them the babies were fine. Ugh. I love stories that make me feel so much, just the same as I sometimes dislike that they make me feel so much!

I will not read ur stories in public. Ppl wondering if I'm crazy, sitting here crying for no apparent reason. (shrugs) I cudnt help it, my heart ached for lacey n rafe and for caleb. Dispute all the problems both Caleb and the threat of war, you have not forgotten the next generation. With both Lily and Lacey being pregnant leaves hope for the future. As for Caleb, yes he was wrong but he needs to be easier on himself. And that hotter than is decent Demetri better check his anger and let Caleb know he still has his back. I want Annie home NOW, but of course that's up to you. As for the injured I hope they heal fast............Jazz what have you done to me? I talking like these characters are real.....I guess to me they are......hehe-he

This feels so real to me. I worry about the characters as if they were friends. I am glad that Caleb is owning his actions and that he experienced the miracle of an unborn child. That touched me deeply. Love it.

i promised myself not 2 read anymore from january till august. yeah right. i like what u've done with the plot, except that a chapter on cassia n pietro was started and then forgotten. i had looked 4ward 2 reading it. i'm really excited about the continuation of this aspect, seeing what caleb is up 2. thank u 4 the beautiful lives u hv blessed us with jazz. it can be ez finding the time to write this so i really appreciate it.

behind this whole mess has me thinking, who , or what. would be afraid of th hybreds, and what happens if rayne is exposed a well( she is the first, and i would assume, along with gard, amongst the eldest of the vampires,) could it be that their was more , and ones that where raised in less than ideal conditions, or is it possible that annie( as her older self) does know, with out realizing it, who it is, someone had to instigate the first rebellion, did they not ???? And as for the "kids" i do think that they are not in danger, for the simple reason, i think not one who is either friend or foe, has any remote idea of what they are capable , alone , but more importantly, as a coherent fighting force

As always I am so very pleased to see another chapter. I love that you try to give us a little of all our favorites. I want to see more interaction with Cass and Peitro. I think that story line will one of my favorites.

I also want to see how you develop the European story line, who will be the villain behind the curtain......

It's like introducing a whole new character without actually adding another person, pure genius when you have a full cast like this one. Callain is going to be of great strength to Caleb in the future and has helped Caleb make adjustments to Anakatrine.

That was bothered by all the Caleb bashing in this chapter? Why is EVERYTHING his fault?!? It was Annie/Anakatrine that made Liam flip his lid by stripping Reasa of her vampire self and thereby causing the damage to the vampires like poor Brandon and almost to Rafe and Lacey's babies. And the way Rafe treated him with his whole "I'm the Alpha and he's beneath my notice" attitude. What an ass!! Has he forgotten that Caleb is the reason he even has a mate by protecting the Hanlon pack from Richard Graves? Or how many lives that cost the vampires and the pack? What an ungrateful hypocrite. Caleb has put himself and his friends on the line to protect the packs and the hybrids since this series began and this is the thanks he gets? I hated this chapter. I go back to The Long Walk Home and Rayne's impression of him while she was trying to cloak herself..."He was huge and imposing, lethalness and a hot sensuality oozing from his pores. But underneath all that she could sense something more, a hidden well of goodness so bright it could light up a night sky if revealed." THAT is who Caleb is. (And no, I don't think it was just the Callain part of him she was sensing.) With friends like his, who needs friends? Stop kicking the man while he's down. And this means you Demetri, you ass!

I love this series as much as the next person on this site. I started reading it when you only had FTI and TA on. Now it seems like eons ago. While I understand that this chapter was essential to get the novel moving, I never forget that l also loved this series for all of the romance it offered. I like the loved stories, and my best friend and I used to sit for hours trying to predict the next couples. What I'm getting at is that can we please see more of the future couples that you've now established. And it would be nice to get an idea of who the new pack leader is. Mac and Lily also didn't get enough spotlight in HoW (this is my opinion). There's so much going on and as much as I'm keeping up, I want to know all the charcters as much as I know the founding ones. Great chapter once again.

I have to admit, I prefer the older character arc of this particular story, to Liam and Reasa at the moment. I absolutely loved this installment and eagerly await the rest!

I just have to say that I've read all of the series. I'm with another reader, the lack of romance is a little disappointing, but I do really like how strong this story is. I'm anxiously awaiting the next installment.

I hadn't checked here for new stuff since the last series so imagine my surprise to see a new chapter of the continuing series! I was was so excited I think I actually clapped with joy lol and of course I couldn't just read the first chapter and go to bed at a reasonable hour, hell no had to read all six and am now wired! I've gone through over a dozen tissues from crying along with an emotional roller coaster.. I know people keep saying you should publish this series but they're right.. yeah I have my issues with vampires sleeping like humans do, vampires out in the sun, vampires having kids.. but you've written about these things in a way that works and a vampire lore purist like me can over look :D

your writing is very well done and you've created characters that I can feel for and root for.. I would love to know more about kothari, which I'm sure you'll get around to.. but I must say this.. I loved pietro from his first introduction way back and can't wait to see him find love, I just want to kiss all his scars away! thank you so much for sharing your writing with us :)

I just read from the very first story of the first series all the way to here. It clearly has kept me entertained wanting more. I like that you develop each character and give them their own individual story. As for this series a comment earlier was posted that I want to agree with. Why hasn't anyone gotten the gun that was on the ground and used the bullets to help with finding the antidote or if need be make their own bullets incase of attack? But maybe you will head that way.

And what happened to those Praetorians wasn't caused by "the Europeans". That was all Liam. It could have happened at any point, for any reason, to any number of innocents. And the fact that everybody is just so focused on protecting the Vârulac that they are completely blind to what is actually going on, is just strange. Not sure if Jaz forgot that or it's just the Characters willful ignorance of the facts. Or maybe it's just that only the main characters count. Liam hurt a lot of innocent people, but for some reason that doesn't register at all, because now he has found his mate. Sometimes i worry how much i like these stories, given the fact that basically every character in them is 9 different shades of psychotic.
