Ft. Dix is an Army Post.in New Jersey. Marines most likely would not be stationed there except possibly for training, which I think unlikely as it is mainly a supply point.

The story was good and I enjoyed the read, my first mother-in-law rode me in my sleep once at the in-laws house on a sleep over.
