She didn't answer, but looked up at him with a hateful look in her eyes as he examined his thigh. The wound had already started to heal, although some blood had dripped onto his cloak. He winced as he moved the leg onto her arm to control her more efficiently.
"Well excuse me for not wanting to die," she finally spat. He backhanded her and she was silent, but still glaring at him. Cian quickly considered his options, realizing that he would either have to bind her or incapacitate her in some way.
"You don't happen to have any rope, do you?" he questioned, and she struggled to move her hand under his, successfully managing to show him the finger.
Sighing, he raised the gun and aimed, striking her neatly across the temple.
