I loved your story Sack. It has everything that makes a good Christmas story. You brought tears to my eyes. Good luck with the contest.
do you like making me cry? This is a really, really good story. I loved it.

See no wars started when one knows how to guide as you do.I am just waiting now for them to approve the edited version.
Full of emotion and I must admit a few tears fell here also. Good luck with the contest.
To say that I really enjoyed your story would be a very blatant understatement. In an area where the stories contain loads of sex, incest, and quasi romantic feelings you aroused much more.........again, THANK YOU!
Such a powerfully simple story of loss, redemption, and beatification. Worth spreading 'round the world!
You made me well up, damn you! I remember the story of the little Match Girl, thanks for giving it back to me...and thanks for showing that there are still people out there that can think beyond the materialism that has become the holidays.
I am overwhelmed by the reaction to this story and appreciate your support. Yes, I cried buckets while writing it as well, couldn't even see the monitor at one point! I wrote this because holidays have always been hard for me, for a lot of reasons, and "holiday blues" is apparently quite common. Thank you again!
Sack, sobbing contentedly
A story destined to be a classic.
You should see about getting this submitted to print media ASAP!
That was so sad!!
Brilliantly written and what a story!!!! Fantastic job sack, and good luck in the comp!! ;-)
Very nice Sack. Thank you so much for pointing me in this direction...
Nice work. I echo the earlier comments ('cause I'm so totally LAZY)! ~Imp
... lovingly told, and very touching. Thanks for writing this and sharing it with us, Sack.
This is a haunting story with a valuable Christmas message... a message for all seasons, really. Thanks for sharing it!
I can't put into words how I felt after reading this story.
Piece of work.. very emotive. Thank you, this was a great holiday story.
Giving this a 5 was simple but the score in my opinion doesn't do it justice-I'm an older guy, have a job that makes me cynical about people and sometimes life I guess-but this gave me chills as I read it-never read nor heard of the Match story so I went and found it-Hans C. Anderson-wrote a nice story but nothing like this one. Sack, I have to tell you-this is the first story I've read by you-but certainly will be taking a look at others. I don't know how it'll do in the contest-but in my book you have a winner-would suggest this one to anyone and everyone.
This is so sweet and touching. I like the message of hope in here, nice for the holidays!!{Once again I sit here with tears in my eyes. }
I am really impressed by the multiple levels of your story, the *substance*. That is a quality so often missing in stories and one that is not easily done. ;) Your words have both depth and beauty. Well done!
Please, just a little too much sentiment. Funny, my eyes are blurry, er, must be allergies...
A very moving story. The emotions ran rampant throughout, towards an inevitably powerful conclusion. Great job!

This one certainly did.
This story is among Literotica's best.
Hell, what am I saying?
This story is one of the best I have ever read ANYWHERE!
Dear Dear Sack. Once again you've left me speechless. Either you have me laughing hysterically, crying or well, you know....
Thanks for a wonderful story!

Thank you, heart rending but beautiful, all I can say is Thank you.
I read this story and you made me cry...it was sad and poignant, and so beautifully done. I'm very impressed with you.
I somehow had missed this beautiful story. Thanks Danielle for posting a comment so it gets some visibility!
Such a charming story ~ one that inspires and at the same time makes you feel there is a lot of sadness in this world. If this story don't touch your heart ~ better go see a cardiologist.
Hopefully the husband survives his wife's infidelity and finds happiness again.
