I was wrong, this chapter represents a new low. I guess I'm reading this for the laugh factor -- otherwise, there is no point. Pretty well-written, technically. Just that the plot keeps going downhill.

Oh, one other thing. Maybe women can have multiples, and can just lie back and continue to go at it (until they get sore), but most men have by far the stronger sex drive and usually want to fuck more days in a row than most women. Remember, it only takes one rooster to satisfy all those hens.

Well, I still don't like the people in the story, that being they are of low moral character to say the least. But it was interesting and you write well enough that I finished it.

You sort of left us hanging with the ending and there is at least another chapter, not that there has to be one. Heck, why not take up with Allison and see how Sarah really likes it?

JPB, the ending was perfect and, for those who doubt it, more potentially realistic than most people would believe.

What he missed on picking up on was that since she picked her days for additional lovers and he was with her mother on those days, he was entitled to pick his three days for his other lover , and i would have picked tuesday friday and saturday to fuck allison, now can she keep him fully satisfied on her allowed sunday to prevent his being with allison or whoever on his three days,.... I think not.

Allison was the only redeeming one in the story, but then she fell! No one left was worth the time or effort.

For all the bitching about JPB, I think we really underrate him as a storyteller.

This was a marvelous story--rich and complicated and detailed and full of (sometimes comical) twists and turns. It wasn't terribly realistic (uh, ya think???) and it wasn't deeply emotional, but for what it was I think it was fantastic.

I think JPB is an editor to a team of people, and that they are playing a joke on we readers.

Just read this again, 1 through 7, superb story and humorous to boot. I am convinced that 85% of the members and anon's need to take a course in reading comprehension. Sometimes I have to go back and re-read the story because I missed what they are commenting about. I can't find it, don't know where they got the idea from, but I do wish they would write a story about their comment.

I read all your stories and this is the best! It even taught me a few life lessons: Go with the flow, keep your emotions in check and don't sweat the small stuff. But she began to get an understanding when, instead of fucking her, he threw her out of bed and told her to use the guest room. She understood that was the beginning of the end for her. Another non-ending by the master of the unfinished - JPB.

Since just about EVERY character in this story is a cheater (there's no indication that Frank's and Allison's parents are cheating on each other), there's no "good guy" to root for against the evil cheaters. So it's more like going to the track and betting which horse will make it across the finish line first. Whoever ends up with the most on the side wins.

JPB discusses aspects of ourselves that we don't want to admit. Some men like being cucks. Some men (and women) are just smitten by things and act stupid about them.

But I kind of get tired of the trope "She owned me through and through". This is a major cop out move. I am not denying it exists with some people, but in the JPB-verse, these people just don't fight their urges at all.

I suppose it makes for dramatic story telling but it's a bit lazy as a writer.

As far as this guy. He's a piece of shit. I am not exactly the morality police, but while Bob characterized him as somewhat self aware, he's still someone I would not like to know...or have around any female relative of mine. I am sure he has many fine qualities but they seem absent in the telling.

And none of the female leads is any better.

It is telling that the last chapter of all of Bob's multi-chapter stories are always the lowest rated, the man just can't write a decent ending except by accident, and often he doesn't even bother to try.

There's a saying about old dogs and new tricks, and if he hasn't learned how to write endings or even why they should be necessary at this point, he never will.

The last paragraphs with Sarah firmly in the driver's seat both literally and figuratively, just ruined things for me, Frank subserviently thinking 'yes dear' as an end note would have filled me with disgust if his character wasn't written so consistently unlikable, it's a slight point in his favor that he might be an asshole, but he's at least not much of a hypocrite in the later chapters.

There is not a single redeeming character in the entire story. I felt sleazy for reading it and needed a shower to clean it off.

I really enjoyed Ch 2 & that was only because of the humour. This was almost a text book example of how not to have successful relationships. There wasn't one of the main characters with any real redeeming attributes. Certainly not anywhere near your best work. 2 ** for this chapter 2.5 for the series

This is the second of Just Plain Bob's longer stories i have read. Its also the second one to just end abruptly with no conclusion with numerous plot threads unresolved. I won't waste my time reading any others.

Characters were ok, plot was tolerable, the ending though has for the second time left me with a sour taste that i would rather not repeat.

The overall story was great. It was like watching a train wreck in slow motion. You see it, but you can't really believe it's happening. I really wanted him to throw a grenade into their midst. I wanted him to divorce Sarah. I wanted him to get away from her whore mother. I wanted the relationship between Russ, Larry, John and Sarah to be exposed, on video, in open Court. I wanted them to all lose their jobs, their marriages, their wealth and their assets. I wanted Russ in jail, Sarah too if at all possible. I wanted him to get enough money from all the lawsuits involving the men and the Company to retire some where in Tahiti. I wanted "BOOM". As others have observed, Frank's initial disappointment over Allison's prom rejection is the beginning of Frank's downhill slide -- both as to events and his character. He let Sarah get by with worse -- considerable worse,

IMO -- than what Allison did. I wish JPB, or another Literotica writer, would write a sequel that would not just put them back together, but in the process deal with all their issues. I wonder if Allison, with her depth of feeling going back to childhood, and being his first love interest and disappointment, is what it takes to make him (and her) whole. A problem is that by now, Frank's mind is so warped that he may not be able to get over his hang-up with mommy-in-law.

The story has been a mess, although an intriguing, what-is-going-to-happen-next mess -- and therefore a good read. It ends a mess, and warrants a sequel with some resolution.

It's a batshit crazy story, but even for one of those, the ending is seriously rushed, and just feels like a carbon copy of the confrontation they had during their initial engagement. "You fucked my mom!" "Yeah well, you fucked a bunch of other guys!" Could've just ended it after their wedding, with the knowledge that they have a secretly open marriage.
