Stories like this one are the reason I keep coming back here and wade through the slush pile. One of the best stories ever on this site! Thank you for telling it (and next we want to hear about Mae and her 3 boyfriends! ;) ).

I love stories that have so little actual sex and so much real story line more should be written this way and the fact that it is listed under romance is so proper that any negative comments should be ignored this is a story all should read

It's wonderful to see a story about a woman who is intersex and trans which does not involve fetishisisation of those facts but treats them with regard to the complexity they have in the non-fiction world. Very moving, very romantic.

three things : it is a true love story genders not applied, the treatment of mel i would hope would not happen as it is portrayed here but probably is in places and that is sad and as for ginas revelation and its part in the story it is where it belongs as the reason for her actions and lani saying what she does proves its validity (

The story was very well written, but I couldn't bring myself to finish it. It was just too depressing -heart attacks, suicide, rape, birth defects, brutal attacks etc.

Then you're a coward and I don't know how you ever enjoy reading. By not finishing, you missed the happy ending. Grow a spine would you kindly?
