Choices, choices...

There is so much potential with this story. you can do pretty much anything you want with this. wendy seems like one of those types who are in between butch and femme so i suggest taking advantage of that. how about a gangster type thing? Great story, wonderful idea. very appealing. please write more.

you were right the first time, you are stupid.

the premise of the story is a series of meeting which form a conclusion to each event, bringing each closer together, quaint and very interesting

If so, I'd just like to say this story is a very decent pastiche. Funny thing, several weeks ago I found a book of humorous short stories in a charity shop and in it re-read Thurber's tale for the first time in God-knows-how-many-years. You've captured the flavour of it very nicely. My sole criticism is that it seemed to end a little abruptly. But that's just an opinion and others might think differently. Whatever, Linda, the story is well worth five stars.
